What is PIN code or Postal Index Number?

PIN code or Postal Index Number is a 6 digit number written at the end of any address through which the postal system of the whole of India does its work smoothly. India being a very big country, many post offices have been built here so that every corner of India can be reached. All the work of the postal department is done smoothly through the postal index number which we know as PIN code. In the postal department, letters, registry or any other thing can be sent to any area of ​​the country only through PIN code.

In the beginning, PIN code was very important, but since the era of email and WhatsApp has come, letters have disappeared from post offices. Now only some government documents are transferred from here to there through post. But since the courier service started in the country, it started using PIN code. After the use of PIN code in courier, its trend increased again.
