Next-Gen Energy Storage for Electric Vehicles
Range anxiety remains one of the largest obstacles to consumer electric vehicle adoption. However, a new generation of lithium-silicon and solid-state batteries promises to change the landscape entirely.
Solid-state technology replaces the liquid electrolyte inside batteries with a solid counterpart, making them safer, faster to charge, and significantly denser in energy. Pilot facilities are starting test runs, promising market arrival by 2028.
